Abstract

Readiness refers to the individual's cognitive, affective, social and psychomotor readiness to perform any activity. Readiness consists of three basic components. These components are; cognitive readiness, social readiness, and educational readiness. Parlakkılıç (2015) defines readiness as online learning readiness on the axis of information systems. Online learning readiness is expressed as eight dimensions. These dimensions are; technology skills readiness, online readiness, equipment/infrastructure readiness, attitude readiness, human resources readiness, environmental readiness, cultural readiness, and financial readiness. The aim of this study is to present a theoretical conceptual framework for readiness. In this study, a literature review on readiness was carried out, and it was seen that there was not enough research on readiness. In this context, the research will fill the existing gap in the literature. In addition, this study, in which theoretical information about readiness is given, will contribute to future studies.
